"You drive by them, these two buildings, and you look, and you realize that we really built that up. That we really built that love into these things, and for a long time afterward looking at them really made me feel sad; to see these empty buildings that I don´t go in to anymore. But then, as time goes on, they start to become kind of joyous in their own way: You can look at them and think 'that love was great and these buildings still stand tall'. But there is also an element of the fact that they´re just buildings - they´re gonna fall down one day, and they´re not that´re not that important because there´s new love in your life and you´ve got to break things down, that get built up."

Es ist einer der ganz wichtigen Stufen auf der Treppe nach ganz oben: Für einen Juilliard Tanzschüler ist die Senior Production, 3 Tage Performance, in denen Seniors Werke von anderen Seniors präsentieren, von großer Bedeutung. Begonnen hat das Projekt bereits in den 1980er und ist mittlerweile zu einer wichtigen Tradition geworden innerhalb der Tänzerausbildung. Abgesehen von dem choreographischen Part der Show, bestehen weitere sehr wichtige Teile aus Technik, Kostüm- und Set Design. In diesem Jahr wurden 7 Choreographen ausgesucht, worunter mein absoluter Favorit Julia Headley war, mit ihrem Stück "Glimpse", ein lyrisches Contemporary Stück, das sich mit Realität und Masse, mit Individuum und Gesellschaft beschäftigt.
